[Memory 11]

Memory: Significant Negative - Failing to resuscitate a patient after cardiac arrest (Life or Death)
Regained: Day 205; Game 159 (Green Knight)
Notes: For those who will receive them, memories come in the form of Springerle cookies. (Shareable; 4/5 uses left)

Memory:

No video for this one, as it is only referred to off screen. What happens is the following:

-- It's directly after Angie yells at Derek and says he isn't a real doctor
-- She is still frustrated when Hope Hospital receives a call that there was a motorcycle accident and the victims are being rushed to the hospital's emergency room. Angie is on duty that night, so she gets to take care of them
-- She begins emergency care once the patients arrive, but one of them had suffered severe trauma to the chest and had pieces of glass lodged into his heart. Dr. Kasal is off for the night, and the other nurses are busy when the patient lapses into cardiac arrest. Angie remains calm and tries to resuscitate him, but when she fails to get a pulse, within all of the chaos she starts to panic.
-- THAT IS WHERE IT CUTS OFF, the parts where Derek arrives and she calms down are in another memory.

What was Learned:
-- E-even I panic sometimes when stressful situations get to be too much... .-. THAT IS NOT A GOOD THING FOR A NURSE TO DO!!1

Effects:
-- +10000 frustration at herself for panicking, and more of a conscious effort not to panic when things get stressful. She noticed during Firebird's game when she rushed forward to take the knife, and after the game when she cried on Jill that she does have the ability to get really emotional (and react on those emotions). She doesn't mind it necessarily, until it interferes with her ability to make level-headed decisions (like it did during the game). SO SHE'LL BE MORE CONSCIOUS ABOUT THIS... and try better to keep her head when things get stressful
